Item 1. Car Sharing:

We encourage car sharing, on all SWAG walks and activities, wherever possible.

Item 2. Suggested Contribution

The suggested contribution to the driver when using car sharing is currently 30p/mile.

Example: A 40mile return journey with 4 occupants (Driver & 3 passengers)

At 30p/mile = 30p x 40miles = 1200p divided by 4 = 300p

So the contribution would be 300p or £3.- per person.

The total is divided equally between all the occupants (driver and passengers).
