Weekends & Holidays

Weekends & Holidays co-ordinator, Sue Pinder

The Group organises weekends away staying in Youth Hostels, Bunkhouses and campsites.  At Youth Hostels, evening meals and breakfasts are provided at reasonable prices by the hostel, however, self-catering facilities are also usually available.

If members of the group are preparing meals for other members, the group does not take any responsibility for the meals prepared, including any cross contamination that may occur in the preparation of meals.

If any member suffers from allergies from certain foods, eg. Gluten, Crustaceans, Dairy, Eggs, Fish, Nuts etc., the member is responsible for ensuring their own safety regarding their allergies and the possibility of cross contamination. The same applies with regards to food preferences such as vegetarian or vegan preferences.

Please bring food and drink for making packed lunches.  Transport may be pooled in order to share costs.  Proper walking equipment is essential for walks.
