Each Wednesday from April to the end of August a ramble takes place in the attractive countryside that surrounds Manchester. 

These rambles are typically 3-4 miles in length and of 1½ to 2 hours duration. 

Boots or stout shoes are required since the terrain can be muddy. 

Normally we meet at Brooklands Metrolink Station approach  M33 7UJ at 6.55 pm.

Transport by car to the start point of the walk is then pooled to reduce the number of cars and hence share the cost, currently 25p / mile divided equally between the car occupants.

At the end of the ramble we usually visit a local pub.
