Wednesday Walks Co-ordinator, Eric Birch
Each Wednesday from late April to the end of August a ramble takes place in the attractive countryside that surrounds Manchester. These rambles are typically 3-4 miles in length and of 1½ to 2 hours duration. Boots or stout shoes are required since the terrain can be muddy. Normally we meet at Brooklands Metrolink Station approach M33 7UJ at 6.55 pm, transport by car to the start point of the walk is then pooled to reduce the number of cars and hence share the cost. At the end of the ramble we usually visit a local pub. Please check with the walk leader before bringing your dog.
